Skiing in Tahoe on Dad's Birthday (January 2015)

David Loves Skiing

We all went up to ski at NorthStar in Truckee last weekend. 

It was a great way to celebrate my birthday.  

However, David was really there for one reason - skiing.  He absolutely loves it.

David was so proud of himself because he convinced me to try a Black Diamond trail.  It was a healthy birthday challenge and he was absolutely right.  I could do it.  He was thrilled. After we finished the run, he said: "so next time you will listen to me and my recommendations right?"  

See for yourself.  This is us before flying down Cowboy Pass.  You can see he is quite proud of himself.  It is all he could talk about that day.

This is us right after finishing the trail.  We are both pretty proud of ourselves.  (He was proud because he convinced Dad to give it a try.  I was proud because I was still in one piece.)

We did take a break for lunch with Mom and Anita.

The view was spectacular.

But eventually it was time to go back home.  This is us at the end of the day.

What a weekend!
