Sarah's Graduation

Graduation Day.  This was Sarah's day.  A big transition (for all of us).  She was so proud and excited.  David was also excited.  He was right there ready to capture her moment.

We were all there for her -Bubbie, Little David, Summer, and Dad.  We watched and celebrate her moment.

July 4th in Monterey

Denis the Menis Park.  There is only one place to be when you are in Monterey, if you are three. The place is the Denis the Menis Park.

I think of myself as in touch with the three-year old mind as I can, given all that we do together as a family.  But I will tell you, the people who designed this park really know kids.

David was beside himself (with excitement). He ran from the big sun slide to the cat walk (and from the cat walk to the train, from the train to the slide, from the slide to the pole, and from the pole to the bell).

Wait a minute, who else was running on that cat walk - ok mom was running after David, but still there she was, right there. (Of course, we all feel we are walking on a cat walk or tight rope these days - no its not his moods, well then again - never mind - we are just trying to stay one step ahead of the game and so far so good.)

There was no end to the fun he had that day.

He led the way.  We followed every step of the way.  We were all pretty thirsty!

We ended the day at the fountain of youth or is David that elusive fountain.
