A Baby is Born - David Takes His First Breath
Harrah! Our son has entered this world. David took his first breath on November 21, 2006 at 12:43 pm at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. He is healthy at 7 pounds and about 20 inches.

Summer pushed and pushed but Baby David was not going to come out using the standard approach so we opted for a C section given all the factors before us - it was the wise decision without a doubt.
Dad went with Baby David to the nursery to get cleaned up. Summer held Baby David and started breast feeding. Sarah held David in her arms - her new brother.
We are all exhausted - it has taken days to get here but it was all worthwhile - it is a beautiful day and a beautiful child.

DF: Baby David to Uncle Ian. Many thanks as my Dad would say. I think he is pretty cool too. He changed my diaper - wow - what a Dad. He held me and kept me warm - that was nice too. But most of all he just stares at me for the longest time - he does know I know but I was peeking. I don't know a lot yet - he said he would teach me - but I know that if he has friends like you he must have done something right in his life (of course I am still trying to figure out how to pee right and poop so that life concept is something I am still working on). Night Uncle Ian (I don't really know what night is but my Dad seems to like that word a lot - he keeps on saying that to me when he is tired).

Hi David,
Congrats again and I wanted to share with you that my sister's best
friend SHIELA YAZDY is in ROOM 232. I came by this morning and saw
Sheila and I noticed that FETTERMAN was written on the board also.
Well I didnt want to bother you guys cause the door was closed. I
hope you are well. My sister just came back from her appointment and
I believe the DR. has decided to do a cesarian on NOVEMBER 30th.
