Skiing at Northstar at Lake Tahoe - January 2013
Skiing at Northstar by Lake Tahoe
21,497 feet
Yes - this little man racked up 21,497 feet skiing this week.
Somehow he made it to level 7. Keep in mind he started at level 2 at the beginning of the week.
To put this into perspective:
Green is beginner level. Blue is intermediate. Black is expert level.
We are at the Blue level and David in ski school was skiing on the Black diamond runs.
Thought you might enjoy this panoramic view of the ski runs we were all on this week.
Beautiful country.
Dad had a great time - proud of some great ski runs, including tons of hockey stops.
Mom also had a great time. She is a better skier than Dad, but we stayed together the entire time.
How is that for a shot? This is at the top of Mt. Pluto which is about 8610 feet high.
Check out the background too - that is Lake Tahoe.
What did we forget little David? No way!
Take a short trip with us.
If that was a bit of fun come with us one more time on our way to Rendezvous Glade.
Ok - one more tiny video of Mom and little David.
We conclude the way we begin the week - with David of course.
He always has the last word.
Here he is bragging about his Black diamond runs.
He is showing us his ski runs on a map at the end of the day.
This little man never ceases to amaze us (and he is great company too).
