David's Big Sister Graduated May 2014

Sarah Graduated from Bennington College

David's big sister graduated from college this weekend - May 31, 2014.  So she beat David twice.  When David graduated from pre-school he said: "the one thing I miss is Sarah because she took off for college before me."  

Now she is one step ahead of him again - she already graduated from college.  No worries.  I asked him what was the best part of the graduation and he said "seeing Sarah." 

This is our college graduate.   Proud and beaming.

It's official.

David recorded much of the ceremony with Google Glass.

Bubbie and Sarah had a good laugh together.  For Sarah it must have been a tremendous relief - to finish all her project work, get everything in order for graduation, and say her good-byes with all of her friends - all this with little or no sleep to speak of.

She certainly had plenty of family to help her celebrate - Robyn, Kirk, Judy, Max, David, Bubbie, Summer, little David, and me. (See brief video.)

After the ceremony we had some time to visit the gallery and see some of her work.

Sarah was beaming.  It was a beautiful day to celebrate with family.

Then it was time to hug and say good-bye.
