He is the Master of the Occasion?

We didn't waste any time. Instead of ending the meal with the birthday celebrations, we started with the cupcake (courtesy of mom - she baked a ton of them). He blew the candle right out. He knew what to do. All day we have been saying "Happy Birthday" and asking "Do you know it is your birthday?" and his response all day - a very controlled, albeit practiced, nod of the head (over and over again).

Sarah enjoyed the celebration with her brother. David had fun pointing at Sarah in the mirror (a second Sarah I guess).

What is the star doing over my head? Don't tell me it is a flash. It must have been a big candle in the background for David - that must of have been some big cake.

Well as you can see - it was a good time had by all. Thanks David for sharing your birthday celebration with us. We all had a good time. So long for now - another year - hard to believe. The little man is 2 years old.
